The workshop has been funded, within the programme Post-Doc PAT2007, by the Provincia Autonoma di Trento, and has been organised with the scientific and logistic support of the Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali of the Università di Trento. The White Horse Press, publisher of academic journals and books specialising in environmental issues, including Environment and History, an interdisciplinary journal which aims to bring scholars in the humanities and biological sciences closer together, will kindly provide stationery and other material for the workshop.
